Attorney Tara Reilly graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2012, but did not begin practicing law full time until four years later, in 2016. Before entering the professional legal sphere, she worked in education for eight years.
As a practicing attorney, Tara focuses exclusively on family law cases, including in the areas of prenuptial agreements, adoption, custody, divorce, modification, and enforcement.
Tara has worked in assorted roles and is familiar with each element of legal action. She has past experience in legal advocacy, as a paralegal, a legal secretary, and as a clerk for the Washington State Court of Appeals. During her time in law school, she wrote multiple publications for, and served as the associate editor of, the Gonzaga Law Review. She was also the associate editor of the Gonzaga Journal of International Law. Tara received several CALI Awards for Excellence during her time in school, and was recognized as a William O. Douglas scholar. She was a runner-up for Q Magazine’s “Best Attorney” honor in 2017, and was named as one of the “10 Best Utah Attorneys” by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys in 2019.
