It’s been a rollercoaster of a week, hasn’t it?! We have a pandemic, businesses are closing, and, here in Utah, we had a huge earthquake with aftershocks.
In all of this craziness of self-isolation, I almost feel people are drawing together beautifully, even if it’s only virtually! Many businesses are going online, restructuring, and creating a new virtual community to help us feed our souls as well as our bodies.
Locally, my pilates studio, Maven Strong, has begun offering unlimited pilates classes online for $50 for 30 days. Centered City Yoga has created a youtube channel with yoga and meditations.
Nationally, Commune is offering free yoga and meditations in their virtual studio.
Netflix party is an extension of chrome where you can watch Netflix with friends anywhere in the world.
It’s important during this time to take care of ourselves, mentally and physically. Look around locally to support our local businesses that have started to transfer services online for a greatly reduced rate. We have an opportunity here to recalibrate our lives in a new way. Take advantage of this and start to heal.
We are all in this together, supporting each other, even if it’s only online. Reach out if you need help.
You are not alone!
